Well, I bought my plane ticket about a week ago. I bought new luggage a few days before that. It appears that this trip is really going to happen! I'm almost in shock of the fact that I'm going to be living in another country for 5 months. I've dreamed of doing this, but it's still slightly unbelievable. While I'm there, I'm going to try to keep everyone updated through this. Hopefully I'll have some pretty crazy adventures to report on so keep checking in! Feel free to leave me comments and such as I'm sure I'm going to need some contact with everyone in America.

Hey, Amelia. I'm glad you're doing this. Take lots of pictures when you go, and tell us funny stories of things that got lost in translation.

I read today that Mel Gibson is planning to start a production company in Costa Rica. Maybe you could get a job while you're down there. Although you might have to learn Ancient Mayan in addition to Spanish...
